The West End State School project aimed to develop a Master Plan to accommodate a rapidly growing population in a topographically challenging site. Significant level changes in the landscape necessitated a careful balance between accessibility, classroom spaces, and play areas, which was crucial to the design's success. DMLA explored multiple options through a detailed consultation process with schools stakeholders and Thomson Adsett Architects.
